Stamping is by press and die for sheet, strip, pipe and profiles, such as outside force, to produce plastic deformation or separation, to obtain the required shape and size of the workpiece forming method (stamping).

Stamping and forging are the same plastic processing (or pressure processing).

The blanks are mainly hot rolled and cold rolled steel and steel strip.

Of all the steel in the world, 60 ~ 70% are plates, most of which are processed into finished products.

Automobile body, chassis, fuel tank, radiator, boiler drum, container shell, motor, electrical core silicon steel sheet and so on are stamping processing.

Stamping processing is the use of conventional or special equipment of the power, the deformation of sheet metal in the mould is directly force and deformation, thereby gaining a certain shape, size and performance of the production technology of product parts.

Sheet, mould and equipment are three elements of stamping.

The stamping processing temperature is divided into hot stamping and cold stamping.

The former is suitable for the plate processing with high deformation resistance and poor plasticity.

The latter is done at room temperature, and is a commonly used method of stamping.

It is one of the main methods of metal plastic processing (or pressure processing) and also belongs to material forming engineering technology.

The die used in stamping is called stamping die.

The punch is a special tool for batch processing of materials (metal or non-metal) into the required blanks.

The punching die is very important in stamping, and it is difficult to carry out the batch stamping without the stamping die.

Without advanced punching die, advanced stamping process cannot be achieved.

Stamping process and die, stamping equipment and stamping materials constitute three elements of stamping process, only they can be combined to get the stamping parts.
